unsere Hausband ZOFF spielt dieses Jahr nicht zum Weihnachtsrock auf, dafür wird der norddeutsche Ableger der Band JAN VORWÄRTS am 17.12.2011 im Bürgerhaus Schortens mit uns Weihnachtsrock feiern. Da geht die Post ab. Also unbedingt im Kalender ankreuzen. Das wird ein Fest!

Liebe Freunde,
in diesem Monat freuen wir uns ganz besonders auf unsere Schallplatte "Le Freak Live" von den legendären CHIC (Sireena 4013). Nile Rodgers und Bernard Edwards haben sich zu diesem Live Erlebnis mit Slash, Stevie Winwood und Sister Sledge hochkarätige Gäste eingeladen. Diese Platte groovt ungemein!

Da passt es, dass Nile Rodgers und CHIC rechtzeitig zu unserer Veröffentlichunge auf deutschen Bühnen unterwegs sein werden. Als Bestandteil der ungemein beliebten NIGHT OF THE PROMS Konzertreihe ist die Band bei den folgenden Terminen zu sehen:

Das bedeutet, unsere Platte auflegen und anschließend auf zum Konzert - oder umgekehrt. Hauptsache Tanzen:

This month we are looking forward to our record "Le Freak Live"  by the legendary CHIC (Sireena 4013). To this phantastic live experience Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards have invited  Slash, Stevie Winwood and Sister Sledge as special guests. This record grooves immensely! It is fitting that Nile Rodgers and CHIC will be on the German stages in time. As part of the popular Night of the Proms concert series, the band can be seen at the dates above.

The long announced split single by ELEMENT OF CRIME and THE PERC MEETS THE HIDDEN GENTLEMAN lies in my hand, in white vinyl! Use your chance and order this juwel.

Liebe Freunde,

was für ein Sommer! Hat die Bezeichnung echt nicht verdient, wir sind hier durch damit! Gut, dass es verstärkt tolle Musik bei uns gibt. Der regelmäßige Besucher unser Seite weiss, dass es MYTHOS "Superkraut - Live at Stagge's Hotel 1976" bereits im Handel gibt. Demnächst auch FRANZ K. mit der CD "Rock In Deutsch", ganz großes Kino. Ein echter Leckerbissen. Beide CDs könnt ihr auch in unserem Shop erhalten.

Demnächst kommt das zweite Album von PARZIVAL "Ba-Rock" auf Vinyl bei uns heraus, herrlicher progressiver Folk, der Spaß macht. Ebenfalls im September kommt das wunderbare gleichnamige Album von HEROINA bei uns. Mit vielen Bonustracks. War ein begnadetes Indie-Dancefloor Projekt mit u.a. Tobias Gruben (Die Erde) M. Arfmann (Kastrierte Philosophen) und Gün Yan Sen (Donna Regina)plus zahlreicher angesagter Gäste. Unglaublich tanzbare Cover-Versionen von Patti Smith, Sex Pistols, Prince etc. Kult pur!
Wir setzen unsere 7" Splitsingle Reihe fort. Diesmal mit ELEMENT OF CRIME (Motorcycle Song) und THE PERC MEETS THE HIDDEN GENTLEMAN (Man-I-Toba). Kommt in weissem Vinyl! Limitiert!

Dann gehts weiter mit ROTZKOTZ und dem ersten Album "Much Funny" auf CD sowie "Le Freak LIVE" von CHIC auf Vinyl. Wir basteln fleissig weiter an unserer Livekraut Compilation und einem Sampler "The Roots of The Ramones". Freut euch auf "Notaufnahme" von FEE, einem echten Deutschrock-Klassiker, den wir mit Bonustracks auf CD wiederveröffentlichen.

Dear friends,

what a summer, doesn't deserve this name, it's a mess. Good news from Sireena Records. Regular visitors of our site know that the cd by  MYTHOS "SuperKraut - Live at Stagge's Hotel 1976" is  already on the market.  FRANZ K. with the CD "Rock In Deutsch," will follow: Great cinema. A real treat. Both CDs are also available in our shop.

Forthcoming: the second album by PARZIVAL "Ba-Rock"  on vinyl,  beautiful progressive folk that's fun. Also in September the same called  wonderful album of HEROINA will be released on cd. With lots of bonus tracks. Has been a gifted indie dancefloor project with  Tobias Gruben (Die Erde) M. Arfmann (Kastrierte Philosophen and Gün Sen Yan (Donna Regina)  plus numerous guests. Wonderful danceable covers of Patti Smith, Sex Pistols, Prince, etc. Pure cult!
We are continuing our 7 "split single series. This time with  ELEMENT OF CRIME (Motorcycle Song) and THE PERC MEETS THE HIDDEN GENTLEMAN (Man-I-Toba). Comes in white vinyl! Limited!

Then we go on with punk veterans Rotzkotz and their first album "Much Funny" on CD and "Le Freak Live" by CHIC on vinyl. We continue working on our LIVEKRAUT compilation  and a sampler called  "The Roots of The Ramones." Look forward to "Notaufnahme" by FEE, a real Deutschrock classic, which we'll re-release with bonus tracks on CD.

zaghaft meldet sich der Sommer, den wir natürlich dringend brauchen. Grillen, campen, Urlaub machen. Und wer liefert den Hörstoff für diese Outdoor-Vergnügen? Naürlich wir von Sireena. Schaut doch mal in unseren Shop. Da gibt's inzwischen den ersten Teil unserer Reihe mit Veröffentlichungen aus dem legendären Stagge's Hotel bei Bremen. THIRSTY MOON mit "Lunar Orbit" aus dem Jahr 1976. Phantastisch. Die nächste CD folgt im August. Diesmal mit den nicht minder legendären MYTHOS, die im selben Jahr bei Stagges aufgetreten sind. Ihr Werk hat den treffenden Namen "SuperKraut" - und genau das können wir versprechen. Ein weiter Leckerbissen kommt noch in diesem Monat auf den Markt, und Ihr könnt ihn schon bei uns im Shop ergattern: NEKTAR mit "Remember The Future" auf Vinyl mit Bonus Single. Gab's noch nie bei der Band! Limitiert! Also zugreifen!

Es folgt eine weitere CD der Deutschrock Legende FRANZ K. Ihr großartiges Werk "Rock In Deutsch" (das mit dem Leichenwagen vorne drauf", kommt bei uns ebenfalls im August. Wird also ein heisser Sommer!

SIREENA NEWS - July 2011

Dear friends,

summer's coming, we need it urgently! Barbecue, camping, take a vacation. And who supplies the sound for your outdoor fun? Your Sireena label! Please have a look in our shop. You'll find  there the first part of our series with live recordings from the legendary Stagge's Hotel near Bremen. THIRSTY MOON with "Lunar Orbit" from the year 1976 start the serie. Fantastic. The next CD will follow in August. It's by MYTHOS, also a legendary band that have performed in the same year at Stagges. Their work is called  "SuperKraut" - and that's what in fact we can promise. A further highlight comes later this month on the market, and you can get hold of it already in our shop: NEKTAR with "Remember The Future" on vinyl with bonus single. Limited! So access!

Here is another CD of the German rock legend FRANZ K.. Their magnificent work "Rock in Deutsch" will be released in August, too.. Thus, what a hot summer!

Look forward to more vinyl jewels by PARZIVAL, ANCIENT GREASE and the fantastic and groundbreaking Disco / Funk band CHIC. It will be fascinating to Sireenaland.

normalerweise sind Neuveröffentlichungen nicht so unser Thema, wir konzentrieren uns ja vorwiegend auf Wiederveröffentlichungen. Wenn aber der Sänger unserer Hausband ZOFF mit einem neuen Projekt und einem neuen Album um die Ecke kommt, da sind wir natürlich gern dabei. Reiner Hänsch's neues Projekt nennt sich JAN VORWÄRTS und seine Kapelle ist sicherlich das humorig-rockigste Ensemble was zur Zeit auf dem deutschsprachigen Markt tätig ist.   "Bei Dükermann" heisst die CD (Sireena 2071), die im Juni auf den Markt kommt. Der Titel "Friesland" ist schon jetzt ein Hit im Norden, die restlichen Titel knallen genau so rein. Wer ZOFF kennt wird JAN VORWÄRTS lieben. Wir tun es schon!

Bereits in unserem Shop erhältlich sind   das Vinylalbum von ATOMIC ROOSTER "Atomic Rooster" Sireena 4010) und die CD "Unmodern Plus" von der großartigen Band DER MODERNE MAN.

Stolz sind wir auf die vielen postiven Pressereaktionen auf unsere Compilation "Jazzkraut - Teutonal Jazz Rock Excursions" (Sireena 2069). Nicht nur deutsche Publikationen wie der KulturSPIEGEL, sondern auch britische Magazine wie UNCUT, MOJO oder RECORD COLLECTOR sind voll des Lobs. Das schreit nach einer Fortsetzung. Wir sind dran!

SIREENA NEWS - May 2011

Dear Friends,

new releases are usually not our issue, we focus mainly on re-releases. But if the mastermind of our house band ZOFF comes with a new project and a new album around the corner,  we are of course happy there. Reiner's new project is called JAN VORWÄRTS and his band is certainly the most humorous-rock ensemble that is currently active on the German market. The cd is called "Bei Dükermann" (Sireena 2071) and will be released in June. One of the titles of the album, "Friesland", is already a hit in the north, the remaining tracks will follow! Who knows ZOFF will love  JAN VORWÄRTS! We do it already!

Already available in our shop is the vinyl album of ATOMIC ROOSTER "Atomic Rooster" (Sireena 4010) and the cd "Unmodern Plus" from the great band DER MODERNE MAN.

We are proud of the many positive reactions from the press on our compilation "Jazz Kraut - Jazz Rock Teutonal Excursions" (Sireena 2069). Not only German publications such as the KulturSPIEGEL but also British magazines such as UNCUT, MOJO, or RECORD COLLECTOR are full of praise. This calls for a sequel. We are in it!

heute nur kurze Hinweise. Will wieder raus in den Garten, Grill läuft. Unsere dritte Snowball-CD "Follow The White Line" (Sireena 2081) gibts im Shop und in den Läden. Dear friends of our label,

today here are only brief references. Will running back out into the garden, it's barbecue time! Our third Snowball CD "Follow The White Line"  (Sireena 2081) is available now in our shop and in stores. Thus, the Snowball trilogy is complete. And we are extremely proud.

Coming soon: ATOMIC ROOSTER "same" (Sireena 4010). The wonderful album in the dream cast with Vincent Crane and John DuCann. Diabolical, evil, scary! Comes with gatefold cover with all lyrics. 180 gram heav-weight vinyl.

We look forward to "Unmodern plus" (Sireena 2078) by DER  MODERNE MAN. A true Punk / New Wave gem, first time on CD - with many bonus tracks!

jetzt sind es nur noch wenige Tage bis zum Konzert von GROBSCHNITT in der Stadthalle Osterholz-Scharmbeck. Das wird ein Fest, bei dem wir uns hoffentlich alle sehen. Wird toll.

Neu in unserem Shop ist das Live Album der Deutschrocker FRANZ K. "Bock auf Rock - Live". Kam ursprünglich 1982 auf Platte, bei uns jetzt auf CD mit Bonustrack! (Sireena 2079).

Mit "Follow The White Line" (Sireena 2081) beenden wir unsere CD-Trilogie von SNOWBALL. Das phantastische Jazz/Rock/Funk-Projekt um den Ausnahmetrommler Curt Cress hat viele Freunde gefunden, und wir sind sehr stolz darauf, alle drei Alben erstmals auf CD veröffentlicht zu haben. Erscheint am 1. April - bei uns bereits im Shop erhältlich.

Demnächst auf Vinyl bei uns: ATOMIC ROOSTER mit dem Album "Atomic Rooster" (Sireena 4010). Kam urspünglich 1980 heraus. Mit dabei Vincent Crane und John DuCann, die beiden Masterminds der beliebten Rockband. Mal wieder Rockgeschichte Pur bei Sireena Records.

Natürlich arbeiten wir Vollgas an unserer ersten DVD, die bis Mai kommen soll. Sie wird das legendäre Konzert der Punklegende RAMONES im Musikladen bei Radio Bremen 1978 enthalten und erstmals auf DVD erscheinen.

Aber bis dahin haben wir noch etwas Zeit. Freut euch auf den Frühling und bleibt uns gewogen.

Dear Friends of Sireena,

now there are only a few days until the concert of GROBSCHNITT at Stadthalle Osterholz-Scharmbeck. We hope to see you all. Will be great!

Already fresh in our shop is the live album by the German rockers FRANZ K. "Bock auf Rock - Live" is. Originally released in 1982 on LP with us now on CD with bonus track! (Sireena 2079).

With "Follow The White Line " (Sireena 2081), we conclude our CD-trilogy of -SNOW BALL. The fantastic jazz / rock / funk project around the exceptional drummer Curt Cress has found many friends, and we are very proud to have published every of three albums on CD for the first time. Street day will be April 1, but already available in our webshop now!

Coming soon on vinyl: ATOMIC ROOSTER with the album "Atomic Rooster" (Sireena 4010). Came out originally 1980 with Vincent Crane and John DuCann, the two masterminds of the popular rock band. Rock history Pur again on Sireena Records.

Of course we are working full throttle on our first DVD, which will appear May. It will contain the legendary concert of the punk legend RAMONES at the German TV show MUSIKLADEN 1978 and will be released on DVD for the first time.

But until then, we have some more time. Look forward to the spinrg us and stay tuned.

welcome in 2011. All the best to you!

First, our live-tip. On 11th March GROBSCHNITT will play in the town hall Osterholz-Scharmbeck. The first final concert in Northern Germany. Ticket are available at www.eventim.de, www.nordwest-ticket.de and of course in our shop.

Already in our shop you'll find the vinyl split 7" single of GROBSCHNITT and TARAS BULBA (Sireena 3007). Also our label compilation "The Spirit Of Sireena Vol 5 " (Sireena 2080) is already in the shop, followed soon by our compilation "Jazz Kraut" with the very best jazz-rock made in Germany from the glorious seventies. Really addictive! (Sireena 2069).

Then PARZIVAL will come with "Legend", 180 gram heavy vinyl. (Sireena 4007). A true Krautrock rarity which will suit you. We are proud to present the third album by SNOWBALL "Follow The White Line" that will be published soon on CD, so the Snow Ball trilogy will be complete. (Sireena 2081).
